HOUSE RULES

Room Access, Check-Out, and Arrival

The hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest whose attire is inappropriate or unkempt, or whose behavior is noisy, improper, intoxicated, or contrary to good morals or public order.

Guests must provide proof of identity and age, as well as that of any accompanying persons. Visitors not registered with the hotel are not permitted in guest rooms (Ordinance of the Prefect of Police of October 28, 1936, amended by Ordinance Article 9 of February 1, 1940), unless expressly authorized by the hotel. Rooms may not be occupied by more people than the permitted capacity (maximum two people per room).

In the event of non-compliance, the hotel reserves the right to charge the responsible guest for the cost of additional occupants, whether or not they are present, based on the rates in effect at the time of the violation. The charge will be applied to the guest’s credit card.

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM unless otherwise agreed. Nightly rentals end at 12:00 PM regardless of the guest’s arrival time.

A luggage storage service is available at reception upon presentation of a receipt. The hotel declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss, or damage.

A credit card pre-authorization will be required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation.

Upon departure, guests must return their room key to reception. Items belonging to the hotel may not be removed. Any errors or unreturned items must be reported and returned, otherwise charges will apply. In the event of non-return of the key, a €25 fee will be charged to the guest’s credit card.

Children and Extra Beds

Guests are fully responsible for their children, who must never be left unattended in the room.

On request, a baby cot can be provided, subject to availability and only in Superior Rooms.

One child up to 3 years old may stay free of charge when using existing bedding.

Children and adults over 3 years old are not permitted to share this bedding.

Maximum number of baby cots per room: 1.

Any additional rooms required must be booked at the rate displayed on the official website.

Supplements are not included in the reservation total and must be paid directly to the hotel.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Guide dogs and assistance dogs are accepted free of charge. Animals may not be left alone in the room.

Groups

A booking of 5 rooms or more is considered a group reservation and will be subject to special terms and conditions.

Liability

Any failure to comply with the rules, safety and hygiene standards, or any negligence resulting in damage to property, persons, or services, will be the guest’s responsibility and subject to billing. Guests are responsible for their own physical condition when using the hotel facilities. The hotel declines all liability for accidents or consequences related to use of its services.

Respect for the Premises: Hygiene and Safety Rules

Guests are expected to behave with respect, restraint, and discretion to maintain the serenity of the property.

It is strictly forbidden to bring glass objects, illicit substances, or to smoke anywhere inside the hotel.

Failure to comply with hygiene and safety rules will result in immediate eviction without refund.

Damage and Disturbances

The client must use the rented room while respecting the integrity of the premises.

The rooms made available to our clients are checked, functional and in good condition. Our clients are invited to immediately report any deficiency to the hotel reception.

In case of a problem, the client will have to assume his civil liability. In case of damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge the client the cost of repair or replacement. The same applies for any violation found after the client’s departure. The amount of compensation will be debited from the client’s credit card.

The hotel may require, in case of voluntary or involuntary damage to materials, objects, furniture belonging to the hotel, full reimbursement with a penalty and damages from €1000 to €2000.

The hotel may require, in case of flooding or water damage, voluntary or involuntary, full reimbursement of the damage caused. In case of damage in other rooms, reimbursement of the other clients’ nights will be required.

The hotel may require a cleaning fee if the room is left in a condition that will be considered unsuitable. In case of deterioration of carpet, bedding, box spring, the hotel will require reimbursement of the damage with a minimum fee of €1000 for restoration and for the inability to re-rent the rooms.

In general, the client must pay directly to the hotel for the damage caused. He may call upon his insurance (if he wishes to be reimbursed) for all voluntary or involuntary damage he causes during his stay.

All our rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of one night for additional cleaning costs to the client who smokes in his room. If the client wishes to continue smoking inside or outside the indicated areas, he will be invited to leave the hotel.

In case of non-compliance with the hotel’s internal regulations, the client will be invited to leave the hotel without being able to claim any reimbursement. The hotel reserves the right to debit the amount of undeclared consumption at departure as well as damages in the room. This amount will be debited from the bank imprint provided at the time of reservation. The hotel will have no obligation to inform the client but may provide an invoice upon request.

Clients must not nail anything to the walls, nor move any furniture.

Noise, even during the day, is prohibited. The client causing disorder or scandal in any form will be invited to leave the hotel immediately and without reimbursement. In the interest of the tranquility of the establishment, all noise must cease between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Any neighborhood noise related to the behavior of a person or an animal under the responsibility of the client may lead the hotelier to invite the latter to leave the establishment without it being necessary to carry out acoustic measurements, as soon as the noise generated is likely to affect the tranquility of the clientele (art. R.1334-30 and R.1334-31 of the Public Health Code). Any inappropriate noise will be reported to the police if necessary.

A hotel room is a place of rest. Any commercial activity is strictly prohibited.

Prohibitions

For reasons of safety and respect for all, it is strictly forbidden to smoke and/or vape in the rooms (even with the window open) and in the common areas of the hotel.

Smoking within the establishment exposes you to a fixed fine of €68 or to legal proceedings:

Decree No. 2017-633 of April 25, 2017 relating to the conditions of application of the ban on vaping in certain collective-use places.

Decree No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006 setting the conditions of application of the ban on smoking in places intended for collective use.

Non-compliance with the smoking ban: if we detect tobacco odors in your room after your departure, we would be unable to re-rent it for the following night.

Thus, in addition to the fixed fine of €68, smoking or vaping in the rooms, even with the window open, will result in the invoicing of an additional night.

In addition, the use of electronic cigarettes or hookah may unintentionally trigger the fire alarm (the smoke detectors installed in the rooms are very sensitive), which will automatically lead to the evacuation of all hotel guests.

Any unintentional triggering of the fire alarm for non-compliance with this provision will be invoiced €150 for the cost of restoring the fire safety system.

Likewise, it is forbidden to cook in the rooms, to eat meals there or to bring drinks not provided by the hotel, as well as to do laundry.

Complaints

Any complaint about the quality of the services provided must be presented to the hotelier immediately.

Safe

Identity papers and valuables (watch, jewelry, means of payment, etc.) may be placed in the safe provided for this purpose in each room.

It is also the guest’s responsibility to check that the safe is properly locked once the personal code has been entered.

Forgotten Items

If the client forgets an item, he may request its return by parcel. This shipment will necessarily be made with tracking and insurance for valuable items. The shipment will be made after payment by the client of the shipping costs.

Fraud

Fraud is an offense characterized by consuming a good or a paid service:

  • While knowing oneself unable to pay or being deliberately resolved not to pay.

  • While pretending to be willing to pay.

Fraud is punishable by 6 months of imprisonment and a €7,500 fine in addition to damages and interest.

Acceptance of the Hotel Rules

The hotel’s internal regulations apply to all reservations. Any stay implies acceptance of the special conditions and the hotel’s internal regulations. Non-compliance with the above provisions results in the immediate termination of the contract and financial penalties will be applied. In case of non-compliance with the hotel’s internal regulations, the client will be invited to leave the hotel without being able to claim any reimbursement.

IN CASE OF NON-COMPLIANCE BY THE CLIENT WITH ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS, THE HOTELIER WILL BE OBLIGED TO INVITE THE CLIENT TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT IMMEDIATELY AND WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION.
